Styrofoam Head Crafts

This post is brought to you by FloraCraft® but all opinions are totally mine! Read my full disclosure here.

My girls want me to be on Craft Wars…

…and I think I could TOTALLY win…

…if it weren’t for that being on TV part.

I just know that I’d lock down as soon as they announced that the cameras were rolling.

And I’d be left standing there not being able to think up one creative idea at all and wishing that I could go back home.

I’m really more of a behind the scenes kind of gal.

I’ll just pretend like I’m a part of my own little Craft Wars with no cameras rolling. 🙂

So when I was presented with the challenge of making something creative with a FloraCraft® Foam Head…

…I just pretended that I was on Craft Wars.

And this is the styrofoam head craft that I came up with.

Cut the FloraCraft® Foam Head in half with a serrated knife.

Spray on several LIGHT coats of gold spray paint.

Cut a “speech bubble” out of the paper.

Cut the fabric to the size of the glass.

Glue the speech bubble to the fabric with just a tiny drop of glue.

Glue the fabric to the back of the glass. I ran a tiny bead of glue directly onto the glass and then put the fabric on top. I worked in little sections at a time.

Secure the glass to the back of the frame.

Glue the FloraCraft® Foam Head onto the bottom corner with styrofoam glue.

Use dry erase markers to write in the bubble!
