Personalized Wood Sign Giveaway

I saw my husband for the first time in the fall of 1991.

He was in my Mythology Class.

I didn’t talk to him all semester.

I was shy, and not the best student.

I usually showed up late to class…I never read my assignment…I rarely had a pencil, let alone paper…

You get the idea.

But, “The Cute Mythology Boy” was smart.

{My code name for him with my friends. :)}

I’m sure he got to class early.

He always read what we were supposed to read, and then asked questions about the reading.

He had a folder and paper and pencils and an entire backpack full of supplies for all of his classes.

His notes were super neat, and all organized in his top bound spiral notebook.

{He still has his notes from most of his classes in our attic.  He was THAT kind of student.}

So couple the shyness with the inferiority that I felt…I never spoke to him.

I just admired him from afar. :)

I ran into him once a year for the next 3 years.

Finally in the spring of 1994, I got the courage to talk to him.

 The Cute Mythology Boy became my husband in December of 1995.

And, the last 18 years of marriage have been amazing.

{I mean, how could I resist those glasses?!}

So, when Andrea contacted me and wanted to paint me a sign,

I looked through her amazing possibilities,

I thought about this one,
