My Favorites of 2013

Posted by on Dec 30, 2013 in Uncategorized | 10 comments

 Our Christmas break started with an amazing…fun-filled…roller-coaster riding…show watching…character meeting…road trip to Disney World with some of our dearest friends on the planet! 🙂

Followed by a round of some unknown lingering virus…

…which led to us all watching entirely too much television.

And since we only have basic cable, we rely on Netflix for most of our shows.

I have practically memorized every episode of Cake Boss

…and, The Next Great Baker

…so, I encouraged the girls to look around and see what else they could find.

That little search led to the discovery of 17 Kids and Counting.

We have finished the first 2 seasons, and my girls can now list all of the Duggar children …by namein order.

{I’m so proud.}

 There are now 19 Duggar children, so I was tempted to list my favorite 19 projects of 2013…

…but, I decided that might be too many. 🙂

So, here are my 10 favorites…

  3. So sorry to hear you were sick, all of you? Hope not. Less than good way to get you to take it easy huh? I loved seeing all your projects, you keep me busy trying to emulate at least some of your creativity. Love those burlap carrots.
    I watch the Duggars also. Don’t know how they got all those kids to pitch in to help with everything, (scenes behind the camera?)but they all sure do. Their home is clean and not cluttered with stuff laying around (unlike me). I’ll have to watch for the Mom’s email address so I can ask her (yeah, right).
    Take care Melissa and wishing you all Happy New Year.
