How to Make a Flower Pomander Ball

Posted by on Jan 16, 2014 in crafts, Valentine's Day | 14 comments

I have an embarrassing number of Christmas decorations…

…but my Valentine’s Day decorations fit neatly inside one box.

And after I pulled them out this year, I have decided that I don’t even like half of them.

But seeing as December is one of the more expensive months, and I really don’t want to head out and buy anything new. And I’m loving how clean everything looks after taking down all of the Christmas decorations. So I really don’t want to add too much clutter…

…I’m making a few {cheap} new things this year.

Like my coffee filter wreath.

And these little beauties.

Here is how to make a flower pomander ball.

How to Make a Pomander Ball

Making a flower covered ball

Supplies:

{All from the Dollar Tree}

styrofoam ball

3 sprays of flowers

Making a flower covered ball

Remove the flowers from the stem.

{They just pull off.}

And insert them into the ball.

I only used 3 sprays, but I should have used 4 to completely cover it, but I just put the bare side down. :)

I added one to the center of the table.

And the other in a little glass dish.

The perfect little pops of pink for Valentine’s Day!

At least that’s a few more things to add to the box!

{And for those who follow me on Instagram, my bed is almost finished! YIPPEE!!}

Life to the full!
