Hospitality Filled Home

Somewhere on the mission to make my house feel like a home…

…I got distracted with paint colors and fabrics and the perfect piece of art.

Don’t get me wrong; I LOVE paint colors!

I love those giant blocks of paint samples from the paint store…I own 3 of them…and nothing excites me more than the possibility of painting a room a new color.

And fabric…you should never take me to a fabric store…I can stay in there for hours walking up and down those aisles imagining all of the possibilities that a new fabric could make in a room!

But sometimes the more important things get overlooked due to the projects that tend to consume.

I have been struggling with these thoughts for quite some time.

And then I began to share some of these thoughts with my sweet friend Sonya from At Home With The Barkers.   And we began to realize that we had very similar thoughts.  And we don’t think that we’re alone with these thoughts!

So as much as we LOVE to see beautiful homes and projects…we want the stories and traditions that go with those pictures.

Don’t get me wrong…we still want to share our favorite projects…and we still want to be inspired by the creativity of others…but we want to make sure that they are inspiring you to jump in a join us!

So over the next year, we are going to be assembling some of our favorite bloggers {that we also know to have similar thoughts} and start a new series called The Hospitality Filled Homes.

We want this series to really convey our love of home and welcome. We want to encourage and inspire you to create warm and generous homes!

So for everyone to join along {not just those who have a blog} we are going to invite you to join us over on Instagram.  We will have different things we will be asking you to share on occasion, using hashtags such as #HFHgatherings or #HFHChristmas.

But for now, we would LOVE for you to share a picture on Instagram that speaks of home and hospitality to you and tag it with #hospitalityfilledhomes.  Then make sure that you search #hospitalityfilledhomes for the chance to meet some new people and to be inspired!

We want a chance to meet all of you!

Make sure that you follow us on Instagram so that you will know when we’re sharing new hastags for opportunities to share!

This is going to be fun! We can’t wait to see what you have to share!

Let the inspiration begin…

Life to the full!
