Welcome to my sweet Anna Belle’s newly redecorated room!
Ceilings have been smoothed…
…walls have been painted…
…new carpet has been installed.
And, the decorating is complete.
Let me show you around!
When this project began, she told me that she just wanted me to do it.
She felt sure that she would like whatever I did,
she just wanted there to be a lot of bright colors…
…with NO pink!
{She has always been my most laid-back child. :)}
So, I hung her artwork on just about every wall…
…painted and hung a huge mirror,
…framed up her self-portrait…
…hung an entire gallery wall with washi tape…
…made a pom pom wreath…
…and, made a window treatment out of tissue paper flowers.
She is so proud of her new room!
So, I couldn’t be more pleased. 🙂
Life to the full!

I LOVE IT!! This makeover looks so similar to my oldest daughter’s room that we re-did this past winter. So funny…my daughter wanted lots of color but NO pink lol!!
I like how you worked all the colors from the pillows into the room. Perfect for a girl’s room! Great job mom, she is one lucky lady.
Oh-That is so cute- that’s a lucky little girl! xo Diana
How adorable!! It pleases us moms when our kids are happy with what we do. I love the art work!! The whole room is certainly fit for a princess. Great job!
love it, melissa! it’s such a happy space!
Melissa this is very pretty. I like the piece over the bed and the colors!

A girl after my own heart. I love it. She is very talented, your little one. What a happy place!
So much beauty here! I just love the vibrant colors and your daughters art gallery is fantastic! I found you through the party…I look forward to following along!!!
What a happy colorful wonderful room. Such a lucky girl but deserves it.
You sure did a great job. She’s quite an artist, loved all her art. Did she have those hammered silver lamps before? I don’t remember. I loved it all, so pretty. Good to wake up to all that happiness. I have to tell you one of my very favorite things is that jade lamp with the flowers around the top. Never seen one like it.
We went to local thrift shop today. They’ve had sort of hutch for couple weeks now, lowered the price. It’s $25 and I’d love to have that piece. Can see in my minds eye what we could do with it, make it great piece for our kitchen, take out an upper and lower cupboard and get the blasted bakers rack out of the kitchen. I saw bakers rack just like it awhile ago at Habitat for $150.
The hutch would be next to our frig. Now have to decide what color to paint it. Will make my own chalk paint. Really want to get that darned thing. You have inspired me so many times. Think I can do it.
Sorry for intruding this in your wonderful post. I love Annabelle’s room. It’s so great for a 13 yr. old young lady. Happy weekend
It is gorgeous! What a lucky little girl. Blessings, Patti
Gorgeous! I always love white with bright colour accents. The chair is so cool, reminds me of a dreamcatcher
What a fun room! Love love all the color in there!
