This has been the summer of backyard parties at our house!
We’ve hosted S’mores Parties and Backyard Movie Nights.
And at each event we have hauled out our miserably mistreated corn hole boards.
But let me warn you.
If you are a hard core corn hole player…cover your eyes.
I’m sure what I’ve done to this corn hole board is against all of the rules.
My husband showed actual concern that I might have “messed the boards up.”
And if you are a competitive corn hole player…then I probably did mess them up.
But if you love to host a cute backyard party…then these boards are perfect!
outdoor fabric
{this is left over from my DIY tent}
staple gun
scissors
Start with old corn hole boards.
And for those of you wondering…yes this is the board that my husband was afraid that I was going to mess up by covering it with fabric. Love him. 🙂
Cut fabric large enough that you can wrap it to the back of the board.
Staple down the edges.
Wrap the ends like a package and staple down.
Cut through the center of the hole and staple the ends down.
If you have some more fabric…cover the bags as well!
Then pick some flowers…and invite some friends over for a friendly game of corn hole.
And for the record, the fabric covered boards work great!
The bags still slide like they should. 🙂
And we’re ready for our next backyard party!
Life to the full!

Your hubs was kidding right about messing up the board? Heaven forbid something looks pretty. And those little things you throw, they look so pretty now. Was that outside fabric you used? Looks very pretty and durable. 100 points for you Mom. What is in the little bags?
There are a few different versions of that game I think. We used to have a washers game hubs made after seeing it at park. Same idea, just little different way of making it. Enjoy your new corn hole board, it really needed fixing up. Have as many summer parties as you can while it lasts. Do you have plans for Labor Day? Happy week
