I made this many years ago, so I don’t have step-by-step pictures,

but it’s pretty easy to do!

{You’ll be back to your hot chocolate in no time. :)}

Supplies:

Foam Core Board

Frame

Fabric

Hot Glue

Black Cardstock

A Couple of Pieces of Bright Cardstock

Number Stickers

Christmas Stickers

Assorted Gift Tags

Straight Pins with Colorful Bead Ends

Small Hole Punch

Ribbon

Cut the foam core board to fit the frame.

Wrap with fabric and hot glue to the back of the board.

Secure the board into the frame.

Determine how big your pieces of card stock need to be to hold your number stickers.

Cut out 24 rectangles.

Add the number stickers.

Evenly space the numbers and stick the pins in to attach them to the board.

Stick Christmas stickers to card stock and cut around the shapes.

Punch a hole and tie a ribbon.

Add ribbon to small gift tags.

Use an assortment.

Just make sure you have 24 when you’re done!

Let the countdown begin!

I still have a bit of shopping and decorating to do myself. 🙂

Then, it will be hot chocolate time!

Life to the full!

  1. Perfect! I’ve had a frame here in my living room for a couple of weeks because the art piece that was i originally in it broke so i took it
out and in the process accidentally broke the glass.i figured i can figure something to do with it and up until now i had no idea so i was just going to toss it. But not anymore! Again thank you thank you for sharing your very clever and useful fun ideas!

  2. I like your creative ideas. It’s refreshing and I will be making some of them and give them to my daughter’s. I am not creative as you, so I am so glad for the instructions you share.
    Thanks so much.

  3. Your project is great, love look of it. You’ve kept it in great condition for having it so long. I’ve never made one of those, don’t know why. Guess when kids young I was too busy to make one. Didn’t do as much crafting as I do now. Did mostly sewing.
Hope you and family had great Thanksgiving. Have good weekend. For some reason it feels like Saturday to me. Went to Junction to Michaels today, bought too many on sale items. Will have to stay out of there for rest of season.

  4. I love some of these ideas, I have designed a more ‘adult’ version if you like, similar to yours. More of a cenral focus in our very new, very empty front room! Would love to know your opinion!
