How to Decorate a Spring Mantel

Posted by on Mar 11, 2015 in Uncategorized | 14 comments

So are some of you beginning to doubt if Spring is actually going happen this year?!

We have used all but 2 of our snow days here.

So last week I decided that the vintage sled and ice skates that I once thought to be very delightful decorations…had to GO! And GO NOW!

And I trudged through the ice and snow to my craft shed and I started digging out all things Spring!

And I invited some of my blogging friends to do the same…

…and for the next 3 days, we are going to share our Spring Mantels with you!

{A list of the full tour is at the end of this post!}

Here is one way to decorate a Spring Mantel:

Spring Mantel

My only thoughts as I decorated were:

It had to be fresh, crisp, and make me think of Spring!

I was drawn to everything green and birds…

…and I couldn’t resist chippy paint.

Blooms, nests and moss also caught my eye as I searched.

Did I mention that I was bundled in coat, scarves and hat?

It was desperate times…the Spring decor had to come out of hiding.

{And the wreath you see hanging on that mirror is now available in my Etsy shop. :)}

So there you have it.

My mantel is all ready for Spring!

Now if we could just get this weather to cooperate!
