Christmas in the Foyer

The temperatures are dropping.

The rain is falling.

There is talk of freezing rain being on its way.

Nothing would make my heart happier than to have school canceled for tomorrow. :)

We could sit by the fire and drink hot coco and watch Elf (our favorite Christmas movie)

  7. Your decorations all look so awesome, great combos. You always know just what to do. Hope you got that day off school so you girls could drink hot cocoa and watch movie. Your entry looks like Christmas and then some, gorgeous. I love seeing what you do and how you put goodies together.
Schools were closed here on Wed. after about 8″ (or more) of snow falling. Been quite cold, high today was 15. We’ve had below zeros at night. More snow forecast for tomorrow thru Monday. I hope I hope. As the silly goose I am I’m loving it. Have that 4th quilt on our bed at night and Tommy wore his coat to bed last night, even the cat didn’t mind when I put a blanket over him. Have no idea why I love winter weather so much. When we moved to MT I used to sit and watch the snow coming down for hours, our living room had windows on all 3 sides.
Happy weekend. I’m still working on making things and most likely will be right up to the “day”. Our payday is day before since it should be on the 25th. I asked my SS friend so I didn’t make myself sick worrying. last year it was day after Christmas. Have you done any shopping lately?

  8. Love everything Melissa! Our school is cancelled again for tomorrow! You have such an eye for detail and I LOVE your garden gate!
