Christmas Front Porch

December is REALLY here.

I’m not sure how it happened?!

My girls started counting down the days to THE BIG DAY this morning.

They needed no reminding…I walked up the stairs…and there was the first ornament hanging on day 1.

24 days to go.

24 days to finish my Christmas shopping…to have hot chocolate parties…to host Christmas parties…to go caroling…to make special gifts for grandparents.

24 days to create memories and traditions that my children will treasure…and one day pass on to their children.

But, for now…welcome to my front porch.

  3. Beautiful!!

  4. Gorgeous, gorgeous, love all your wonderful decorations. You have great ones. Did you buy your cedar fence garland? Our Sam’s club had 30ft. (i think) of fresh cedar garland for $10. and like a fool I didn’t get it. Too early for here but then maybe not. Wish I’d gone back to get it last night when I took some things back. Have you had your wonderful decorations for while or some of them new? Love it all but think the wood reindeer with metal antler are my favorites.
Wish Hubs could make some for me but our weather is going to drastically change by Wed. down in 20′s for highs during the day for rest of week and snow. If he doesn’t get busy in next two days no reindeer or tree for him to make.
Saw a tree on a blog, made out of pallet wood but hubs would put holes in tree so we could put lights in it and I’ll stencil big snow flakes on it. I have some really big snow flake stencils among others. I’ll be glad if hubs will get that cut out for me. No garage or basement for him to work in. Happy days Your porch looks wonderful
