Chalkboard Paint Projects

If you remember a few days ago I shared with you

the CUTEST farmhouse

I had EVER seen.

Well, my oldest was with me on that little house visit.

And, she came home INSPIRED!

And, proceeded to take EVERYTHING off of her walls.

And, announced that she was redecorating her room.

{She actually won a gift card from Pottery Barn Teen a few months back and had not spent it yet.}

After the visit to the farmhouse,

she had the perfect vision for what she wanted:

“Modern Farmhouse”

And, part of that “modern farmhouse” vision included a full chalkboard wall in her room.

So, I’ve been painting…

…and, thinking about all of the things that I’ve painted with chalkboard paint in the past.

Here are 5 ways to use chalkboard paint:

  1. I love chalkboard paint! I hope to have a chalkboard wall in one of my boy’s bedrooms in the new place 🙂 That table is awesome too…great idea for my grandbaby!

  2. After seeing so many incredible projects using chalkboards/paint I’ve become quite enamored with it. Our Ace hardware had a $1 days sale so I bought an oval address plaque. I didn’t know what I’d do with it but couldn’t pass up a frame for $1. It’s brass but will be spray painting it some other color. It just might end up being a decorative plaque with chalkboard so I can change it at will for holidays, etc. Glad you showed the great chalkboard ideas. Always good to have ideas for inspiration.
    I’ve been a bit under weather, had allergic reaction to who knows what and hives all over my chest, neck. and arms. Driving me crazy. Can’t put lotion on after shower since not sure what triggered the allergic reaction. Our water is so hard I get itchy after shower and douse myself with lotion. Making me crazy, wake up itching like crazy. Ah well, this too shall pass right? Sure hope so.

    Spoke with granddaughter 16 last week and she was not happy about starting school this past Monday. Next year they start on Aug. 4th. She’ll be a senior. She is so grown up and so smart, wise in how she attends to her life. Very proud of her. On top of that she’s beautiful, inside and out. Makes a grama feel so good. Happy days
