I remember hunting eggs when I was a kid.
We hunted the good old fashioned hard boiled eggs.
No plastic candy filled eggs for us.
We’d hide them and hunt them until they were rotten.
And there were always a few that we could never find…
…until several days later…
…when we would be retrieving a ball from the monkey grass and the smell would knock us over.
Or my Dad would hit it with the lawn mower…that never went over well.
Ahhh…the memories! 🙂
I want to meet the person who invented the glue gun…
…and I want to give them a hug.
A Great Big Thank You hug!
I think they’re a genius.
A crafting genius.
And thanks to the glue gun inventor…
…this metallic egg wreath was ready in no time.
Carrots hold a special place in my heart.
I’ll never forget when I was about 6…
…my friend Kelly and I were playing restaurant in her backyard. Â We were pulling up various weeds and making “salad” out of them. The goal was to pull up the weeds roots and all. Â On occasion there would be a tiny onion on the end of one of those weeds. Â Those were very valuable in the “salad” world of a 6 year old!
But one time…one time we pulled up an actual carrot…
…and that my friends is gold in the salad making world of a 6 year old and I will NEVER forget it.
Carrots have held a special place in my heart every since. 🙂
So here is how to make a carrot placemat.
Back 2 years ago when I started this blog…
…I knew nothing of camera settings and photo editing.
I’m still no professional, but I have learned a bit.
{And I still have A LOT more to learn!}
But I’m going to pull 4 pictures out of the vault…to show you how to make these chocolate bunnies.
Be kind. 🙂
I haven’t been around much for the past couple of days.
My sweet mama had surgery on Monday.
4 1/2 hours of surgery.
She’s going to be ok.
She’s a trooper.
But more than that…the Lord is good.
And if you want to add someone to your prayer list…her name is Gloria.
I shared their home a while back…and shared how my parents were a lot like the Cleavers…and we look forward to her being about her normal “June” ways soon! 🙂
But for today I will share a super quick, fun Easter project.
I was pulling out my Easter decorations today when I came across this wreath.
It will always hold a special place in my heart.
It was one of my first posts when I started blogging about 2 years ago.
{I can’t believe that I’ve been blogging now for 2 years…where does the time go?!}
So I thought I’d share it with you again today…
…because “Hippity-Hoppity, Easter’s on it’s way!”
